The 'Tata Crucible Campus Quiz' – Expanding horizons! The Tata Crucible Campus Quiz made its international debut with the Singapore edition in 2007. The 2008 edition in Singapore also saw strong participation from campuses across the city-state. The UK edition debuted in 2008 and was held at Imperial College's South Kensington Campus. To broaden the scope of the event, the concept of the grand International Final was conceived as a face-of between the top 2 teams from Singapore, London and India. In what could be aptly called the Clash of the Titans, IIM Calcutta from India won the International Championship for 2009 ahead of London Business School (UK), SMU (Singapore), MICA (India) , SIM (Singapore) and Oxford University (UK) at the mega event held in Mumbai, India in April 2009. The 3rd edition of the quiz in Singapore will be held on 23rd October, 2009 with its share of thrills and suspense for the student community there.
